It seems the blog fairies are active this week, because I have been nominated to receive TWO blog awards over the past week!

onelovelyblog   award

Jesica from Run On Organic nominated me for the One Lovely Blog Award. She shares a lot of information on her blog about organic products, so that she can share what she has learned and you can learn from her!

Ellie from The Boo, The Bear and the goji berries nominated me for The Versatile Blogger award! She is a healthy living blogger feeding her family healthy foods and sharing her knowledge with us.

The rules of each are pretty similar, so I’m going to condense down to one:

    • Thank the Blogger who nominated you.
    • Include a link to their site.
    • Include the award image to your post.
    • Include the award image on your blog.
    • Give 7 random facts about yourself.
    • Nominate 15 other bloggers for the award, including links to their sites
    • Let those bloggers know they have been nominated

Interested in my 7 random facts? Check out my video response to find out where I met Kirk, one of my favorite snacks as a kid, when I hated beer, and my participation in the 1996 Olympics.

Instead of nominating 15 other bloggers, I am challenging YOU to create a video response with 7 random facts about you!! You know video is awesome, right?! Blogger or not – send me a link to your video (YouTube or your blog) and I’ll feature the random responses in an upcoming post.

********************

Questions for you:

  • Any random facts surprise you?
  • Take the challenge above and share your video with me!!

I still eat avocados right from the shell thing! I didn’t know that was weird?? haha!

Maybe not weird then – we’re completely normal! =)

So cool, I stink at doing videos so don’t know if I will be able to submit one. Me and technology are terrible. I love this though! Wow avocados even as a young kid, how hilarious.

Come on Alex, it’s easy. =) I just used my smartphone last night and held it at arms length. Or you can you a webcam on your computer. Perfection is (obviously) not needed – dive in!!

Why am I not surprised about the avocados?! LOL!

If I wasn’t so lazy I learn how to video… you have to give me a crash course before you leave me. :)

Haha – my randomness doesn’t even surprise you! :)

Video is easy, you just have to shoot the first one and you get over the strangeness quickly. Just hold your iPhone at arms length or use your computer’s webcam – that’s how I’ve done mine. You can do it!!

You are so precious. I might have to do this since I was given the lovely blogger award recently.

People love to watch me be awkward LIVE and not just in type. ;)

Yay – you have to. And I think I’m always a little awkward in my videos, but whatever. :)

Congrats on the awards….

Denver is lucky to have you. Great video. I may have to jump in the mix with this. I know plenty of people that eat avocado straight. And YES, you need to find the right beer if you say “I don’t like beer.”

Great post and congrats again.

Yes, Yes – you should definitely do a video! :)
