I love to discover new products and sometimes I actually remember to share the good ones with you. Some people really like to try new things and I’m one of those. I also appreciate the recommendations from others (which you’ll notice is how I found the last brand on this list), so I would love to share some of my recent finds with you today.

1. Tarte Cosmetics
One natural beauty product I’ve found recently is Tarte. For years I had used bareMinerals for years, but had started looking for something more natural and with a strong commitment against animal testing. One of the girls who waxes my brows recommended this brand to me and I am hooked.
I started with the Amazonian clay full coverage airbrush foundation (affiliate link) and have expanded to include my entire daily makeup. I love this brand, because they are always free of parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate, & gluten. They are also fully vegan and certified cruelty free.
2. Can Covers
This is one of those simple, practical things that I wish I had invented. If you buy much canned food, but don’t use the whole thing at one time. These can covers from Molor (affiliate link) snap right on to the can, so you don’t have to use plastic or a tupperware container. They may say they are for pet food, but they work great for normal cans. I have one covering a partially used can of pumpkin in the fridge right now.
3. NYL Skincare
One of the beauty areas I haven’t been able to make that switch is skincare. I have tried a lot of products over the years, but nothing has worked for me. I can tell within a week or two that it’s not going to work out for my acne-prone, combination skin. When Amanda shared about NYL Skincare a few weeks ago, I decided to order the sampler kit. Since then, I’ve bought full-size versions of the face wash, makeup remover, and transformation serum. It’s probably a little early for a full review, but I had to share my initial thoughts. Stay tuned…
Just a few of things I’ve found recently and are worth sharing! And if you liked this post, I hope you’ll do the same. :)
