#MoveHappy Challenge: Week 4

We’ve been rocking the #MoveHappy Challenge for 3 full weeks now and it’s a great party!! It was a great incentive for me to keep moving on vacation (which I did pretty well!) and it’s so much fun to watch others and encourage them as they find what is fun for them. It’s not about how many miles you run or pounds you lift, it’s about moving and enjoying the process. If it’s not fun, you won’t make it a lifestyle (or even a long-term habit).

    We have a family Christmas-light-viewing walk scheduled, which will be a fun way to move happy with my family! Other than that, several runs and some interval workouts are planned! Last week, my happiest movement was my long run … it was pouring rain and cold, but I kind of like running in the rain, and it was Saturday after a long week (the start of break!), AND I had a new Garmin. It was an awesome 18 miles!

      I bet that was a beautiful walk – we usually do that too, but didn’t make the time this year for some reason. Something to look forward to next Christmas I guess! And WOOHOO on the 18 miles! :)
