One Word Wednesday On the Snow

I’m stealing this idea from Lindsay, who created the “rules” of labeling each picture with one word, and it MUST be the first word that comes to mind (and yes, you can put two words together, hashtag-style if need be).

A fun twist of Wordless Wednesday, don’t you think? So let’s do this thing!

If you follow me on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, you have probably seen some of these over the weekend. If not, you should! :)

Question for you:

  • What’s the first word that comes to mind to describe your day so far?

Slush! Our snow has turned to slush, and my trip to the gym this morning was a wet one! Beautiful pictures!

That summarizes my day too. It’s nasty in Toronto right now and I literally took by boots off on the bus because they were fillled with water. No shame!

We have a little slush, but that stuff melts pretty quickly here – mostly powder until it’s gone. :)

You should really just call this “make Laura jealous Wednesday.”

What a fun idea! Happy would be my word and it’s not b/c I’m at work b/ because I got in 5 miles with my friend. So basically runner’s high talking right now. Ask me again in a few hours ;-)

What a GREAT word to start the day. I slept in this morning, so I’ll have two workouts tonight. I hope I have that runner’s high as I head to swim after work. :)

My one word would probably be excitement! I’m already jazzed for my ski trip, and this post is just putting me over the top!

SO beautiful! The snow in CO is so different than it is in Maryland. It’s a joy out there and just a pain in the butt here. Always heavy and wet and we don’t know how to handle it here. I only loved it when I was a teacher because schools would close if there was anything more than a dusting (or even just a threat of snow!)

I agree completely – it’s a fun snow here and the gross stuff melts away so quickly with the sunshine! You’ll get to enjoy Colorado snow here soon enough!

These pictures are incredible! I am so over snow right now (it is currently slushing outside if that is an actual type of precipitation? Yuck.) but these pictures remind me of how beautiful it is when still fresh. Lovely.

Thanks – all taken from my Galaxy S3! :) I’m ready for longer days, but not ready for the end of snow. I want way more days on the mountain snowboarding!

I’m jealous. I can’t remember the last time we had a powder day. (Actually, I can. It was January 14th!)

I am SO super jealous of your snow picture! I have been wanting to hit up the snow but went to Asia instead (a great trade-off) but still the snow is the snow! Enjoy Winter :) Love + Shine CourtStar
