Today’s giveaway is one that is near and dear to my heart. Earlier this year, I launched Better With Veggies Coaching – customized and affordable online coaching for running, triathlon, and duathlon training. It’s been a fun way to share my knowledge and experience in endurance sports with others and I’ve loved every minute of it.

We offer two different kinds of coaching, race-specific training and monthly coaching.

  • Race Training is for those who are looking for a customized schedule for an upcoming race, including: 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon. Instead of a generic schedule, each training plan will be customized for your current ability level, goals, limiters, and available training time.
  • Monthly Coaching is best for those that are looking for guidance on building a long-term training plan with multiple races and priorities. We’ll build an Annual Training Plan (ATP) and design your training to maximize your performance throughout the year.

Both Kirk and I coach all levels of athletes, from someone training for their first 5K (or coming back from an injury) to those aiming for an Ironman triathlon.

Coaching Discount

In honor of Better With Veggie’s Birthday – we’re offering 20% off any race training plan or 2 months of coaching! Simply put the code BIRTHDAY in the response to “How did you hear about Better With Veggies Coaching?” on the Athlete Questionnaire to take advantage of this discount. Offer valid through Friday, September 7th.

Half marathon for sure, or the 10 mile. Both I love!

The half marathon! Long enough to get in a groove, but not too long to feel awful at the end ;)

I would probably pick 50 miles. I haven’t done it yet, but Most ultrarunners say that is a happy medium.

Ahh! I’ve been wanting to do a half-marathon forever but have been nervous because I don’t have anyone to help me with a training plan. My dad used to run halfs/marathons years ago but it’s been a while. This would be amazing! You’d definitely be my first pick for a coach. (:

I’ve never done a race…I’m sooooo sloooow. But I do enjoy running! If I win I might let you talk/coach me into something like a 5/10K. :-)

I’m not much of a runner, but I’ve recently started doing 5Ks. That would be my choice!

Ohh I don’t know! I haven’t raced that many distances, but I think a sprint tri will be my favorite (when I do them next season!)
