Through My Lens: Sydney, Australia

It’s late on Tuesday night here in Australia, as the day is just getting started in the US. Thinking of the time difference is so odd here – such a disparity. I haven’t had a chance to get a workout in since Sunday morning, but I see a small window of time tomorrow morning that I might be able to make it work. With that in mind, I hope you’ll enjoy these photos from my trip so far.

Tomorrow, I’ll share a review of a fantastic restaurant I had the pleasure of visiting in just North of Sydney. I always know it’s a great restaurant when it’s not veggie, but I still get to enjoy dessert. Something to look forward to tomorrow. Smile

So pretty! I want to go there some day SO badly. I have never seen a rugby match, but I was in Dublin when Ireland was playing Scotland in what I gather was the world Series of rugby. They were very enthusiastic about it. :)

It really is gorgeous, although it would be even more fun to have more time to wander around. I can’t wait to vacation here!

I’ve always wanted to go to Australia! There’s actually a really nice rugby stadium here, so my friends went to a game this past weekend. I’ve never gone, but if you’re into rugby, you’re in luck!

Me too – I can’t believe I’m actually here! Rugby was really cool, not nearly as violent as I expected. :)

So jealous you got sent to Aussie. But I can barely stomach the thought of flying 3-4 hours to Boston … soooo the flight you took to get here would be torture. :)

Yea, you may struggle a bit on the flight as your first. We need to get you on more planes so you can make the trip one day!

I’m really enjoying myself, but it’s also long days at work and I do miss my hubby. :)

Amazing!! Have so much fun in Australia!! I’ve never been to a rugby game before… I think I’d be scared to watch since they’re so violent!

It’s not nearly as violent as I expected – it seemed less than football (and I do love me some football!). :)

I played rugby for two years in college! Little known fact about me. I was not very good.

Love that you strategically placed the picture of Manly Wharf right before the one of the rugby match. Looks like you are still able to get out every once in a while in between the busy days. You’ll have to tell me all about it when you get back!
