Today I am very jealous of Laura…she’s in Argentina Santiago!! She was supposed to be in Argentina, but learned first-hand the joys of stand-by travel and had a last-minute change in plans. I’m sure she’ll share more about that later, but I found that so funny because that’s how I grew up! My mom worked for Delta and I had the privilege of traveling all over from a very young age (I can’t even remember my first flight). Sometimes it works out really well, and sometimes you have to be flexible and change your plans on the fly (pun intended)!
Anyway, head on over to her blog, Sprint 2 The Table, to see my guest post: Summer Grilling + Cocktails, Southern Style!. I shared TWO recipes – a drink and dinner that pair nicely together. The drink was created by Kirk (of course) specifically for the entree!
Now head on over and check it out!!

Pineapple seems to be a common suggestion and I LOVE it – need to do that very soon. :)

I’ve been doing just a mile most days too, but don’t fee bad about it at all! :) I just love getting back into a routine and enjoying it (and the fact that this week is a recovery week isn’t hurting either). :)
I got my National Running Day run in with our buddy Cody. It was intervals day and since he is soooo much faster, it made for a good workout. Ouch!
Ouch indeed – that sounds extremely painful. I would have needed roller skates to keep up! :)
your recipe looked amazing sweetheart, as all of them do obviously! I need to grill tempeh. I haven’t done tempeh before, but have had it grilled at a restaurant once. If you had to say what your all time favourite way to do tempeh what would it be? grilled?

You are too kind, thank you!! This is actually the first time we’ve grilled tempeh, usually I saute it and love it that way too. I guess I find sauteing most versitile, so I would pick that if I have to choose – but it really just depends on what flavors you are working with. :)
you had me at cocktails, heading over there now! ;)

A girl after my own heart – I hope we get to hang out and drink cocktails together one day. :)
Thank you soooo much for the guest spot! People loved it judging from the comments. :)
I celebrated National Running Day running from Terminal F to E. Literally.
